On 14 March three men were convicted under the Terrorism Act in Grahamstown. Walter Sifozonke TSHIKILA (43) was sentenced to 13 years imprisonment for allegedly participating in activities of the banned Pan Africanist Congress (PAC) in East London last year. He previously served a six year sentence for political offences.
Joseph Lulamile MADYO (18) and Penrose Sumile NDWANDWA (18) were each sentenced to five years imprisonment for their involvement.
