Three former executive members of the Zimbabwe Reformed African National Congress (ZRANC), Rev. THOMPSON TIRIVAVI, WILLIAM MASANHU and DENNIS CHITSAKA, appeared on unspecified allegations of contravening the Law and Order (Maintenance) Act. No charges were put and the three men were remanded to 7 July. The ZRANC disbanded in May 1977 to join the People's Movement, an organization of supporters of ZANU led by Robert Mugabe.
