In the Transvaal Soweto student Eugene ZABALA (20) was detained on 24 January. A few days later Miss Phumza DYANTYI (28) was arrested as she left the public gallery at the trial of the Pretoria Twelve. Miss Dyantyi was detained for a long period in 1975 and discharged in the trial of NAYO members. Three of those jailed for refusing to give evidence against the accused in the Pretoria Twelve trial were arrested immediately they completed their six month sentences and detained under the Terrorism Act. They are Super MOLOI, Billy MASETLA and Matheson MOROBI.
