Nine SWAPO officials detained under AG26 and the Terrorism Act were released towards the end of the UN Special Representative's visit to Namibia, following strong representations by political parties and church leaders: Skinny Hilundwa, Engelhard Gariseb, Edward Hueve, Adolf Kaure, David Shikwambi, Erastus Shiimi and Johannes Itope (AG26); Emmanuel Ngatjizepo and Silas Emvula (Terrorism Act).
