Banning orders have been served on the following:

Fikile Edgar MLINDA, of Ginsberg township King Williams Town, formerly with the Zimele Trust Fund, a now-banned organisation to assist political prisoners on release. Restricted to King Williams Town from 12 February 1979 to 31 January 1984.

Andrew Mzwandile MBILINI, of Ginsberg township, formerly working for the now banned Black Peoples Convention. Restricted to the King Williams Town and Zwelitsha district from 12 February 1979 to 31 January 1984.

Ebrahim ISMAIL, released from Robben Island on 17 February after completing 15 year sentence for sabotage imposed on Ismail and 17 others in Pietermaritzburg on 28 February 1964. Restricted to Pinetown, Durban for two years and prohibited from visiting any black area.

Gladys MANZI (45) of Umlazi, Durban, released in March after 20 months in detention and immediately served with her third five year banning order.

Helia PHUNGULA (45) Russell MAPHANGA (39) Shadrack MAPHUMULO (45) Delisa CHILIZA (39) — all of Durban, released in March after 22 months in detention and immediately served with five-year banning and house arrest orders. Maphumulo is a former research assistant at the University of Natal and is now restricted to Verulam. Chiliza and Maphanga are restricted to Durban and Umlazi, and Phungula to Umlazi.

Lungelo Shadrack DWABA, released from Robben Island after serving 15-year sentence for political activities. Restricted to Mdantsane until 31 March 1981.

Nduniso Albert MBEKWA, also thought to be a newly-released political prisoner. Restricted to Mdantsane until 31 March 1981.

Vukile Stephen TSHWETA, released from Robben Island after 15-year sentence. Restricted to Zwelitsha until 31.3.81.

## MOREBUDI and OTHERS The final sentences imposed on Levine Morebudi and three others who were convicted of possessing arms found in the veld are believed to be as follows: Morebudi: 4 years (30 months effective) Tshabalala: 6 strokes Mosetlha: 9 months Manquupu: 5 years
