### 17 November 1978: Special Court Martial, Mrewa FAUSTINA MUSARAPASI was sentenced to 5 years imprisonment for being in possession of meat thought to have been the produce of stolen stock (an offence regarded by the authorities as likely to be connected with guerilla activity). Her husband and father-in-law, who had evidence that the meat was not stolen but came from one of the family's own cows, were refused entry into the court martial to testify on her behalf.

### 12 March 1979: Salisbury High Court ABBIAH TAPFUMANEYI and SMART MUKETIWA pleaded not guilty to assisting guerillas to murder. Judgement was reserved until 19 March.

Father M.Z. MUZUNGU, a Roman Catholic priest who served as a liaison officer for the International Red Cross, was due to appear before the Marandellas magistrates' court at the end of April on charges of assisting guerillas.
