Ten of those charged with sabotage were convicted of public violence, as were two of those charged with arson. Six of those charged under the Terrorism Act were convicted of lesser offences and 17 were still on trial. The average length of time those charged under the Terrorism Act were held before being charged was 85 days; five were held for 380 days before being charged.
