Bhekithiza NQUBELANI (26) appeared in the Supreme Court, Cape Town, on 16 October on Terrorism Act charges and alternatively with attempted murder.
He is charged in connection with a bomb placed in the Cape Town Supreme Court on 15 May. He had already appeared at two brief preliminary hearings. (see FOCUS 24 p.3) The hearing was postponed to 8 February 1980, due to "technical problems with witnesses." The court ordered that the accused remain in custody. (RDM 17.10.79)
