In a recent SAIRR document "Security Trials, 1978", by Linda Ensor, details are given of a convicted prisoner whose name was not previously known to FOCUS.

She is Mrs Elizabeth NTOMBIZODWA who is mentioned as an unnamed woman who gave state's evidence at two trials mentioned on page 3 of FOCUS 22. In fact, according to the SAIRR, she was initially a co-accused in the second of these trials, together with Vuma Dennis Makeke. It appears that she pleaded guilty and then gave evidence against him and also in the Wauchope and Mlanzi trial (see FOCUS 22 p.3). SAIRR reports that in early 1979 she received a five year sentence for recruiting for military training. ("Security Trials in SA, pp.25-26)
