On 4 March the Administrator General announced the detention of those he said were responsible for a bomb blast at a petrol station in Gobabis on 13 January. Previously police had offered a reward for the arrest of Hosea Kotako, Titus Josef Shalumba/ Salimba and Levi Ampollo, all from Ombalantu.
